How do I register for a sport?

Accepted Answer

Visit the 'Sports' page and click on the relevant registration button. You will then be taken to the Rockhampton Sports Arena's Spawtz platform link. Once you select your desired sport and league, you'll be prompted to create a free account to complete your registration. You can then use this account to manage and view any ongoing team registrations, individual registrations, payments, venue bookings, upcoming games and more.

What equipment is included in my game fee? Do I need to provide anything over and above?

Accepted Answer

All equipment is provided to play the sports provided at the venue. 
Any personal protection or specialised equipment you will need to provide.

Question 3

Are there uniforms?

Accepted Answer

Uniforms are not required but we do encourage teams to participate in similar team colours to help distinguish between team players. Coloured team bibs can also be hired for $5 per game.

Question 4

What is the minimum age for joining one of the competitions?

Accepted Answer

There is no minimum age requirement.  For age bracket competitions the individual will need to play in the competition applicable to their age that year.

Question 5

How many seasons are offered per year and how long does each season last?

Accepted Answer

We offer 3 seasons per year ranging from 14-16 weeks on average. This includes semifinals and finals. The dates and duration of our 2025 seasons are as follows;
 • Summer Season = 25th November 2024 – 29th of March 2025
 • Autumn Season = 31st of March – 26th of July 2025
 • Winter Season = 28th of July – 8th of November 2025

Question 6

What happens if I can't play one week?

Accepted Answer

Obviously no one likes a forfeit but if it’s a last resort and you cannot find replacements, notify staff as soon as possible via text message - 0407 329 834.  
We will endeavour to fill the position or team as forfeits are an organisational work load.

Forfeit fees will apply as per the following:
 • Forfeiting after 12pm the day before fixture will attract a 1.5x game fee.
 • Forfeiting before 12pm the day before fixture will attract a half game fee.

Can the facility be hired for private events?
